Finding Clarity in a World Designed to Distract You

In a world where everything competes for our attention, how do we find the space to think clearly, make meaningful decisions, and recognise what we can truly influence?

Join us for an inspiring evening of conversation, reflection, and celebration as economist, leadership strategist, and author Chisom Udeze launches her new book, Hostile to Thinking: Finding Clarity in a World Designed to Distract You.

More than a traditional book launch, this event invites us to explore how we navigate an increasingly noisy and complex world, and how we can reclaim clarity in our personal lives, workplaces, and communities.

At the heart of the book is the Three Clarities framework, built around three essential questions:

  • Who Are You? — Understanding your identity.

  • Where Are You? — Recognising the context and systems around you.

  • What Can You Actually Influence? — Identifying where your power lies.

Drawing on lived experiences, real-world case studies, and practical insights, Chisom and our guest speakers will explore the relationship between individual agency and the systems that shape our everyday lives.

Whether you’re a leader, professional, entrepreneur, parent, or simply someone seeking greater clarity in uncertain times, this evening offers fresh perspectives and meaningful conversations to take with you.
