Frederiksberg Parish Choir

Frederiksberg Parish Choir was founded in 1984 by its current leader, Lis Vorbeck.
The choir consists of about 30 girls aged from 12-20 and sings regularly for worship and events in Frederiksberg Church. In addition, the choir annually holds numerous concerts in Denmark. The choir has traveled a lot and given concerts in the Faroe Islands, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Greenland, Estonia, Latvia, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Japan and several times in the US and recorded several CDs and appeared on radio and TV . Several composers have written works especially for the choir – including the Danish composers Fuzzy and John Høybye.
On the travel to Iceland there will be 19 girls from the chorus, and it is also a great joy and inspiration to the choir to be accompanied with Frederiksberg Church organist Allan Rasmussen.
The concert will start at 17:00 and the entres is free, welcome.
