Hyggestund – A Sculptural Mobile!

Welcome to a drop-in workshop for families of all sorts where guests are introduced to natural and unnatural materials that unexpectedly fit together and form a mobile!

The workshop is inspired by the exhibition Ripples: Shifting Realities in the Arctic which is located in the Hvelfing exhibition space and in the children’s library. We will focus on arctic animals and theme.

The craft workshop is for free and all material available. This is a self-taught workshop but a library desk staff will be available upstairs to assists guests or answer any questions.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early to visit Hvelfing and find inspiration from the exhibition to create their mobile. All exhibitions at the Nordic house are for free.

OPENINGHOURS AND ACCESSIBILITY: The Children’s Library is open for all. Accessible for wheelchair users via the elevator and through Hvelfing exhibition space. Accessible restrooms and a restroom for families with babies is on the main floor. Opening hours are TUE-SUN 10 am-17 pm. Entrance to the library and all events is free of charge.
