“Crossing Keyboards” – Free concert

The Nordic House is pleased to present a classical piano concert with guests from the Latvian Academy of Music (JVLMA) as a part of the international project “Crossing Keyboards”.
Professors and students from Latvian Academy of Music will guest Iceland Academy of Arts to attend a common masterclass. As a result Latvian students will play in the Nordic House featuring masterpieces of classical piano repertoire. The students are Lāsma Neulāne, Viktorija Trofimova, Jānis Karpovičs, Aleksandrs Kalējs.
“Crossing Keyboards” project facilitates the mobility of students and tutors of Estonian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Finnish, Swedish and Icelandic academies since 2009. The return visit of students and professors from the Iceland Academy of the Arts to JVLMA will take place on September 29, 2017.
