We offer movement sessions for infants and their parents in collaboration with Guðrún Óskarsdóttir. During these sessions, we discuss children’s motor development while playing, singing, and dancing together.

Guðrún Óskarsdóttir is the principal of Óskandi dance school; she is an educator holding an MA degree from the Department of Arts Education at the Iceland University of the Arts and is a yoga instructor specializing in prenatal/postnatal yoga, kids’ yoga, and yoga for children with special needs. She has pursued additional training in infant massage (Liddle Kidz) and child motor development (Baby Bare), and completed a teacher training program at the Creative Dance Center, an institution whose pedagogy is based on the process of children’s motor development. Guðrún has also trained as a doula at Bastyr University/Simkin Center in Seattle and attended courses at the Pikler House in Budapest. She is currently studying Infant Developmental Movement Education at The School for Body-Mind Centering in the UK. Guðrún is passionate about health-promoting school environments and children’s motor development, focusing on the vital roles that movement and the environment play in a child’s growth.
