Based on the fact that mountain pass Åkneset, located in the Geiranger fjord in Norway, one day will fall out and create a violent tsunami of over 80 meters that will crush everything in its path before it hits land in Geiranger. A geologist gets caught in the middle of it and a race against against time begins.

Pre talk
20th April 19:00 there will be pre talk by senior advisor Sylfest Glimsdal, from the leading international centre for research and consulting within the geosciences, Norwegian Geotechnical Institute (NGI). The Norwegian Embassy will welcome you with a glass of wine or mineralwater. The event will take place in English.
The Nordic Film Festival is a yearly event, and this is the fourth edition at the Nordic House in Reykjavik. The festival runs the period 13th – 20th April 2016 and we screen selected Nordic films in all genres, with English subtitles. The Nordic Film Festival is a collaboration between the Nordic House, Embassy of Denmark, Finnish Embassy, Norwegian Embassy and Embassy of Sweden in Reykjavik, Iceland. Local partners are Aalto Bistro and Bio Paradis.
