Is it possible to use stories and illustrations to increase children’s understanding of the lives of others? Can books build bridges between different cultures? Anna Vaivare (LV), Indrek Koff (ER), Lára Garðarsdóttir (IS) and Kristín Helga Gunnarsdóttir (IS) describe how they have dealt with these questions and other issues related to migration, refugees and immigrants in their work.
