Exhibition: Skunktúrar og Ofurhetjur – Art Without Borders


Skunktúrar og Ofurhetjur is a collective exhibition by members of Vinnustofa í myndlist (Workshop in fine art). Vinnustofa is organised by The Reykjavik School of Visual Arts (Mindlistaskólinn í Reykjavík). The exhibition is part of the festival Art Without Borders (List án landamæra) and can be found on facebook here.

Opening event of the exhibition Skunktúrar og Ofurhetjur will be held on the 4th of May at 18:00 in the Black Box (basement of the Nordic House).

Featuring artists are Ingi Hrafn Stefánsson, Ásgeir Ísak Kristjánsson, Kolbeinn Jón Magnússon, Guðmundur Stefán Guðmundsson, Hringur Úlfarsson, Lára Lilja Gunnarsdóttir, Sigurður Reynir Ármannsson, Arna Ýr Jónsdóttir, Atli Már Indriðason, Valdimar Leó Vesterdal, Vilmundur Örn Gunnarsson, Ásdís Henný Pálsdóttir, Gígja Garðarsdóttir and Birkir Sigurðsson

NB! The exhibition Dimmalimm will open at the Children’s Library at the same time as Skunktúrar og Ofurhetjur. On the same evening, the Nordic House also invites you to a screening of six short movies by Nordic artists in the main hall. 

The exhibition is open at the Black Box throughout the festival, 4th to 13th of May, 10.00-17.00. The house is open until 21.00 on Wednesdays. Entrance is free.

There is easy wheelchair access to the basement of the Nordic House (take the elevator from the first floor) as well as a spacious parking lot.
