La Chana celebrates the charisma of a Gypsy flamenco dancer who in the 1960s rose to stardom and then vanished from the public eye at the height of her career. Filled with footage of spectacular flamenco, the film brings us into the spirit of this eccentric woman. The film was nominated for the audience awards at the Hot Docs festival in Canada.
