Copenhagen Guitar Trio

The Copenhagen Guitar Trio consists of Niklas Johansen, Simon Oddershede og Søren Eriksen. They are all students of Jesper Sivebæk and Lars Trier at the Royal Danish Conservatory in Kopenhagen. The Trio was founded in 2009 and has given concerts in Denmark, Sweden and Spain. They have a diverse repertoire with empahsis on danish contemporary music as well as performing music form different musical periods.
This concert is a part of the trios collaboration with The Icelandic Guitar Trio which includes exchanges of visits to each others countries where concerts are given. The programs at these concerts will include new danish and icelandic works, amongst them at least two world premiers.
The concert will take place on the 17. of october at 16:00 at the Nordic House.
