The film days Nordic Film Focus will this time be held in collaboration with Reykjavík Feminist Film Festival during 16-19 January. The program in The Nordic House puts focus on Nordic female film directors and identity as a topic. Newly, Nordic films will be screened and a discussion will be facilitated with the directors and other representatives of the films.

Anne, a successful lawyer specializing in children and young adults, places both her family and career at risk when she seduces her teenage stepson.
The film was awarded the Nordic Council Film Prize in 2019. The film was premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and received the audience award. In addition, the film was awarded the Best Nordic Film Award, for Best Actress in a Leading Role and Audience Award at the Gothenburg Film Festival.
In addition to feature films, el-Toukhy has directed plays on the radio and for theater as well as episodes of the award-winning Danish television series The Heirs (Arven) and Ride Upon the Storm (Herrens veje).
