Design Talk + Lunch – PAVILION NORDICO

27.06.2020 Cancelled

On the occasion of DesignMarch The Nordic House offers a lunch talk about the Nordic cultural platform PAVILION NORDICO. A delicious lunch from MATR is included. Free admission, secure a ticket here.

PAVILION NORDICO is a Nordic residency and art centre located in Buenos Aires, Argentina that opened its doors in early 2019. The project awards up to 10 creators with a one-month residency in a historical villa in the heart of the city, where they have a chance to work on individual projects and connect with local art and culture.

A team from PAVILION NORDICO will introduce the centre and PN1, the Nordic-Argentine design themed project that came out of this collaboration. PN1 is the first major design collaboration between the Nordic region and Argentina in this century. In early 2020, PN1 invited five young Nordic designers to Buenos Aires to collaborate on an original project with local design studios, workshops, and craftspeople.

Those who want to consider participation in PAVILION NORDICO are especially encouraged to show up for this presentation.

Those who will introduce are:
– Sara Løve Daðadóttir, founder and director of PAVILION NORDICO
– Juan Garcia Mosqueda, Argentinian design curator
– Danish design duo Fredrik Nystrup-Larsen and Oliver Sundqvist

The design talk will be held in MATR, a new café in The Nordic House. Included is lunch, coffee and sweets for registered participants.

Secure your free ticket here.
