Elín Harpa – Picnic Concert

Elín Harpa is an Icelandic musician and singer who recently released her first single, Rún, and she plans to release an EP later this year. Despite her young age, Elín has long worked in music, and she started her career after taking part in The Voice Iceland. In recent years, Elín Harpa has worked with the Icelandic band Bang Gang and toured Asia with them. Her music can be categorized as a kind of electropop, where an experimental sound world is mixed with gripping melodies.

At 12:00 we will read the children’s book. “Nei! sagði litla skrímslið”. This publication is part of a nordic collaboration work between three Nordic authors: Áslaugar Jónsdóttur, Kalle Güettler og Rakel Helmsdal. We read the book first in Icelandic, and then in Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Swedish and Faroese.
