15.15 Concert series at the Nordic house – “Spring in Paris”.

“Spring in Paris” is the title of a concert at the 15.15 concert series at the Nordic house, Sunday April 10th.  The hour-long concert start at 15.15 pm

The chamber group Camerarctica plays music by French composers, where the audience is treated to a very special atmosphere of French music connected to nature, spring and the joy of Paris.

Program: Tarantella by Camille Saint-Saëns, Suite by Darius Milhaud, Syrinx by Claude Debussy and a Trio by Gabriel Fauré.

The group’s members are Hallfríður Ólafsdóttir flutist, Ármann Helgason clarinetist, Hildigunnur Halldórsdóttir violinist, Sigurður Halldórsson cellist and Ingunn Hildur Hauksdóttir pianist.

The chamber group Camerarctica is mainly formed by players from the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra and The Icelandic Opera. The group has played chamber music by Mozart with candlelight annually during the last days before Christmas for the past twenty-two years, as well as playing regularly other concerts including concerts at the 15.15 concerts series at the Nordic house.

Ticket price is 2000, but 1000 for elderly, disabled and students.
