 Nordic Climate Solutions: Green to Scale

Seminar at the Nordic House // Jan 18, 15:00-17:00

On January 18 the Nordic House will host a seminar on the Nordic Green to Scale project, which explores how scaling up 15 proven Nordic climate solutions could help cutting emissions on a global scale.

The seminar is organized in collaboration with the Institute for Sustainability Studies at the University of Iceland and the Nordic Region in Focus.The seminar language is English and participation is free of charge.

The Nordic Green to Scale project was presented at COP22 in Marrakech, see press release.

By scaling up just 15 proven Nordic solutions, countries all over the world can save 4 Gt of emissions every year by 2030 which is as much as the EU produces today. The costs for this scale-up equal the amount spent in just 9 days on fossil fuel subsidies.
