Welcome to a family-friendly guided tour of Ripples: Shifting Realities in the Arctic, a special visit for children and their caretakers.

Join curator Ásthildur Jónsdóttir for a relaxed, one-hour walk through the exhibition, the tour will be held in Icelandic. Together we’ll explore artworks and scientific ideas about the Arctic – its snow, ice and glaciers and how they are changing.
Children can try hands-on activities during the tour, and families are welcome to stay afterwards to join more workshops in the children’s library linked to the exhibition.
Get ready to discover the Arctic in a playful and thoughtful way!
About the exhibition and the artists:
Ripples: Shifting Realities in the Arctic brings together artists and scientists to explore the profound environmental, cultural, and perceptual transformations currently unfolding in the Arctic. Presented at the Nordic House in Reykjavík, the exhibition examines the impact of climate change on snow, ice, and glacial landscapes, while inviting reflection on humanity’s relationship with nature and the cultural significance of the Arctic environment.
