Inspired by the North: An Exhibition of Children’s Works
Welcome to an exhibition featuring works by children from primary schools in Reykjavík.
The exhibition Inspired by the North presents textile works, collage and video art, as well as paintings created by students from Landakotsskóli, Melaskóli, and Hagaskóli. The works are all inspired by the exhibition Gárur: Transformations in the Arctic, currently on view in Hvelfing. They were created under the guidance of artists and art and craft teachers from the schools.
The exhibition is on display in the foyer and children’s library of the Nordic House during the Reykjavík Children’s Culture Festival.
A guided tour for children and families of the exhibition Gárur: Transformations in the Arctic will take place on Sunday 26 April at 14:00.
