Family workshop: Latvian craft

The 105th anniversary of Latvian independence is celebrated with a family friendly event!

November 18th is the Independence day of Latvia that is celebrated widely among Latvian communities all around the world, also in Iceland. For the occasion Latvian School in Reykjavik in co-operation with the Nordic house invites families to take part in craft workshop on Saturday, 18th of November 1-3 pm.

Festive household decors will be created, and light Latvian refreshments served – rye bread, smoked pork, milk, honey, and apple pie. In Latvia it is a custom to wear one´s best clothes on the national day, therefore we encourage our guests to do that as well. Let´s celebrate together!
