Update: Reading circle at the Nordic House 2026

Reading circle at the Nordic House 2026

We read books in the three Scandinavian languages (Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish), get together, and discuss these works. The books we are focusing on are works that have won or been nominated for the Nordic Council Literature Prize.

The third meeting will take place on Wednesday, April 15th at 18:00 hours. We will be reading Hunter i Huskvarna by Sara Stridsberg. Stridsberg is a Swedish author, translator, and playwright. In 2007, she received the Nordic Council Literature Prize for her novel Drömfakulteten.

The first meeting took place on Wednesday, February 11th at 18:00 hours. We read the novel Fars rygg by Niels Fredrik Dahl, who won the prize in 2024.

Upcoming meetings will take place on May 13th and June 10th.
