What is LYNG?
LYNG is a zine published by the Heysahorn Art Collective (HAC), a new interdisciplinary art collective based in the Arctic, Nordics, and the United Kingdom. Each issue is led by a guest editor. They will select from the submission pool which contributions will be published, based on a central theme. Our vision is to showcase artists and promote collaboration across countries and art forms, highlighting what artists from our communities want to share in relation to the given theme. The theme of the 1st edition of LYNG is “CAIRN” and the first guest editor is Alberte Parnuuna, visual artist, filmmaker, and 2D animator based in Copenhagen, originally from Nuuk, Kalaallit Nunaat.
