Wheelbarrows in the North on the Nordic Day!
Students are invited to a magical journey through the Nordic countries on Nordic Day!
Wheelbarrows in the North is a lively Nordic children’s exhibition and workshop created by Lone Wernblad and Bergur Fonsdal Johannsen. The exhibition takes children on an imaginary musical journey through the Nordic countries – from mountains and fjords to polar bears, seahorses and dog sleds.
The children actively participate through singing, dancing, movement and storytelling. The experience combines creative learning and theatrical adventures and is intended for children aged 5–8.
The event is free – intended for school groups (maximum 50) and registration is required: hrafnhildur@nordichouse.is. The exhibition is 60 minutes long, and we can adapt to the convenience of the school in terms of timing. The event takes place in Icelandic or Danish if requested.
