The Sami National Day is celebrated on 6 February, the day the first Sami Congress was held in 1917 in Trondheim, Norway.

The film shows the Sami struggle, poetically and poignantly portrayed by artist Britta Marakatt-Labba. A dazzlingly beautiful portrayal of Sami mythology and worldview, but also of the existential threat that climate change poses to Sami culture.
