RIFF at the Nordic house 2025
We are proud to host RIFF, Reykjavík International Film Festival, again for the year 2025!
The program at the Nordic House will take place from 27.09.2025 to 05.10.2025, and offers a great variety of events:

YoungRIFF offers a children’s program at the Nordic house and will screen a variety of movies and short movies for children and teenagers. There will also be a focus on Pippi Longstocking with a screening in Icelandic of one of the classic Pippi movies, and afterwards a sticky Papier-mâché workshop in the children´s library!
Industry days will be held at The Nordic House as they have the years before.
And there will be screenings of “films from the North”.

Accessibility to Elissa auditorium is good, a low threshold is into the room. Accessible restrooms are on the same floor. Access to the children’s library is via stairs from the library or with the elevator through the Hvelfing exhibition hall. Further information can be found here on our website , and our staff at the library desk can assist when needed.
