Program note: A living looper squirms like a box of worms. Loops digest plucks and chirps, strings sizzle and ring into chattering things, castings pile into terrain and erode into mud. Machine ears listen to simulated space; ghosts of herring swim in analog cataracts while no-one plays vibraphone gently in the distance.

Victor Shepardson is a musician-technician searching electroacoustic and algorithmic assemblages for exquisite spaces, unexpected instants and absurd entanglements. Victor has worked with artists including Nordic Affect, Jenna Sutela, and Arca. He is currently a doctoral researcher in the Intelligent Instruments Lab in Háskóli Íslands, where his interests include machine learning, improvisation and digital lutherie.

The house Cafe, Plantan, will selling food outside in the hopefully good weather.
