Open call for Unplugged Airwaves off-venue!
The Nordic House in Reykjavik is accepting applications from artists and musicians for the upcoming Airwaves off-venue concerts Friday 5th November 2017.
It´s open for all artists to apply, but we have a special focus on artists living in Nordic or Baltic countries, or have a Nordic nationality living abroad.

Off-venue: Concerts Friday 5th November, for free for the audience and open to all.

Q: Is the audience seated or standing?
A: The venue has seats for 80 people with an option for the audience to stand in the back.
Q: Is there a stage?
A: Yes.
Q: Is there a PA?
A: Yes. There is a JBL PA with a 16 channel Soundcraft mixer.
Q: Are there monitors?
A: Yes. There are 4 monitors (3 sends from the mixer).
Q: Are there lights?
A: Yes. It is 4 moving heads.
Q: Is there a back line?
A: No, this is unplugged concerts. We have a Steinway piano (Flygel)
Q: Do you have a keyboard stand?
A: No.
Q: Do you have instrument cables?
A: No. Bring your instruments and cables.
Q: Is it OK to sell merchandise?
A: Yes.
Q: Do you pay for travel and stay?
A: No, this is for artists that already planned to come to Reykjavik.
Q: Is the gig paid?
A: No, and we are really sorry for that.
