Lávre

Lávre is a Sámi artist, joiker, and singer-songwriter from Guovdageaidnu (Kautokeino) on the Norwegian side of Sápmi. This summer, he releases Šaddogárdi (Fruit Garden), an EP weaving soft songs and joiks into a stripped-down acoustic tapestry.
Blending traditional joik melodies with Sámi indiefolk and what he calls “garden pop,” the music emerges from years of collected joik fragments and forms a fruit garden of love songs and reflections on loss, fleeting beauty, and the memories we carry forward. For Pikknikk, Lávre performs in an intimate duo together with pianist/synth player Eirik Fjelde, creating a personal, atmospheric experience for the listeners.
The concert is part of the Šaddogárdi tour, which seeks out special, intimate spaces: botanical gardens, stone churches, and small cultural venues. The Pikknikk greenhouse setting will certainly serve as a natural home for these songs.
