Hyggestund

13:00-15:00
Children's Library

 Hyggestund 14. February 1-3pm

Welcome to a creative drop-in craft workshop for children and their care takers at the Children´s library.

This Saturday extra materials are available at the children´s library in connection to the new exhibitions The North and Ripple. Families are encouraged to draw, sew, make glaciers or clouds with materials provided, following the guidelines available in three languages: English, Icelandic and Swedish. A glacier mouse scavenger hunt is a fun game available as well and a new Montessori climbing slide has been installed for the younger guests.

We recommend starting your visit in Hvelfing exhibition hall where a new catalogue takes guests through the Ripple exhibition, with simple text and tasks that connect to the artwork. End your journey through the exhibition by  going into the children´s library for more craft workshops in the exhibition The North.

ACCESSIBILITY: The Children’s Library is accessible for wheelchairs through the exhibition hall Hvelfing. Library staff can give guidance. Restrooms are wheelchair accessible and gender-neutral. Entrance to the library and exhibition is for free as well as all materials provided.
