Geir Draugsvoll & Mette Rasmussen THE NORDIC HOUSE CONCERT SERIES

As a duo, accordionist Geir Draugsvoll and pianist Mette Rasmussen have previously had concerts in Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, France and China. Mostly with Astor Piazzolla on the program, whose varied sound world fits the two instruments particularly well. This has meant that the duo now releases the album Time of Life on the respected label Naxos, with some of the composer’s most famous and popular Nuevo Tango works. At the concert, Geir and Mette will also play a selection of folk music and new compositions from Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
The Nordic House Concert Series is in its third summer, and as always, our guests can expect a varied program with interesting musicians. This year we present no fewer than four acts from the other Nordic countries together with six Icelandic acts. The concert series has something for everyone; folk music, jazz, classical, and pop.
The series takes place on Wednesdays at 21:00 from 12th of June – 14th of August. The entry is only 3.000 kr. or 2.000 kr. for students and senior citizens.
