Dear guests – especially our youngest!

Next Wednesday, the authors of the project “Poetry & Song” invite parents and the youngest children to a morning where art, stories, games, poetry and music come together.
Workshop instructors use the newly published “Poetry Chest.” The Poetry Chest contains 20 cards with known Icelandic verses, along with beautiful illustrations. The Poetry Chest is a new Icelandic cultural project: “In a world where artificial intelligence and fast paste rule, “Poetry and Song” creates a space for peace, creativity and connection.” You can read more about the project at the website: ljodoglag.is.

“Family Wednesdays with Plantan bístró” are intended for our youngest guests and their adults. Family Wednesdays are a combination of events, including music lessons, parent education, workshops, crafts, and offers for the youngest guests at Plantan bístró. On Wednesday mornings when there is no fixed event, we offer a cozy atmosphere and bring out sensory toys for our younger guests, such as magnetic blocks and other fun toys.
Information for those events can be found on our webpage and social media.

The Nordic House offers a varied program that can be found on our website. The current children´s exhibition is about Pippi Longstocking and is extremely fun to play in. There is an adventure house, costumes, a chalk wall, a climbing frame, etc. The Pippi exhibition closes the 7th of February 2026.
