DESIGN MARCH: Family Workshop

10:00-12:00
Children's Library & Pavilion
Free entry

Using imagination, pencil, paper, small sticks, scissors and tape, we create a collection of small three-dimensional objects in the shape of chairs (scale 1:5). The workshop aims to shape an everyday object in a fun and swift way. At the same time, the exercise will hopefully arouse the participants’ interest in design, form and the creative process.

Bettina Nelson is a Swedish-English experimental designer based in Copenhagen, Denmark. She obtained an MA in Object Design from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School of Design (2017). Her practice is motivated by a fascination for the playful and intuitive based on the exploration of the intrinsic movement and transformative memories in relation to shapes and material tactility.
