Closing day of the exhibition: A calm moment and conversation with the curator
15:00
We warmly welcome you to the closing day of Sequences XII: Pause; Layered Memory at the Nordic House, where we will enjoy a cozy and reflective moment together.
Daría Sól Andrews, the exhibition curator, will be present and will host a relaxed conversation about the exhibition, the natural world it reflects, and its multilayered sense of time. After the talk, guests are invited to sit down with warm glögg or a cold drink in the former Director’s Residence of the Nordic House. It is a perfect opportunity to enjoy, listen, and spend time together in a warm Advent atmosphere.
We look forward to seeing you!
Accessibility: The Hvelfing exhibition space is accessible via an elevator from the main floor or by an outdoor staircase. The former Director’s Residence is accessible from the main floor and is generally easy to reach, though there is a low threshold at the entrance.
The exhibition Layered Memory brings together artists who each work with perceptions of time beyond the human scale. Among the works are pieces dealing with glacial movements, fungal networks, geological formations, and other ecosystems that follow their own rhythms – encouraging us to slow down and tune in to nature.
