The small States and the New Security Environment (SSANSE)
International Conference at the University of Iceland, Tuesday 26 June, from 08:30-17:45 at The Nordic house.
This international conference for small states´ specialists will focus on security and defence policy choices and challenges of NATO small states and small states in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and Oceania. Participants come from 15 countries on 4 continents. Among the topics that will be discussed are security in the Arctic, security in the Nordic and Baltic regions, energy security and maritime security.
The conference is a part of a three-year project, funded by NATO’s Science for Peace Programme. For more information about the project please visit our webpage.
