ARE YOU A STORYTELLER?

We would like to invite You to a “Speed date” where we share stories and anecdotes from our lives relationships with you. Saturday December 10th at 17:00 – 18:00 in the Nordic House Libary.

HELP US FORM THE PERFORMANCE!

We sit around tables in smaller groups, drink coffee and would love to hear your story as well – real or invented! The stories will be recorded, processed, made into a written score and read by the performers together with music played by Úlfur during the coming performance the day after.

The material gathered is anonymous and may not be used in its original state. We want to mend it and mix it up with the thought of all things private and personal often is universal.

Its free and the language will be in English, Icelandic and Swedish (for you to choose).

The performance: PARTS OF LIFE

This dance project/performance, called “Parts of Life”, is an internordic collaboration divided in three working periods in Sweden, Iceland with premiere in Finland January 2017.

Parts of Life consists of three different parts: Play, Relations and Work, one theme per country. Island’s theme is Relations.

Parts of Life consists of Terhi, Sini, Maija and Outi (Performers from Finland), Jenni (Light designer from Finland), Úlfur (Composer from Iceland) and Disa (Choreographer from Sweden).
