A Musical Treat from Greenland and Iceland

The Representation of Greenland marks the Greenland national day Sunday, 16th June 2019, from 16:00 to 18:00 with a Classic/Opera/Pop concert followed by a small reception with Greenlandic specialities at The Nordic house.
The event will start at 16:00 with a short introduction from Head of Representation Jacob Isbosethsen, then the President for the Greenlandic Parliament Ms. Vivian Motzfeldt will address the National Day speech and The Nordic House as Co-host we have the pleasure of presenting a spectacular musical concert, which is expected to be 1 ½ hour in total.
There will be a limited number of 80 seats in the auditorium, and since the concert is free and open to everyone we highly recommend that you arrive in good time.
Josef Lund Josefsen is a Greenlandic tenor accompanied by Icelandic opera singer Halldóra Ósk Helgadóttir, Icelandic pianist Hrönn Þráinsdóttir and Danish violinist Peter Andreas Nielsen, as well as Greenlandic pop singers Nina K. Jørgensen, Arnannguaq R. Olsen and Hans Peter Bay will perform their favourite songs.
The Guests will also have the opportunity to explore the exhibition, Porcelain Souls by Inuuteq Storch, Greenlandic photographer, in Atrium which is in connection to the event.
