Perniclas Bedow, the founder and creative director of Swedish design studio Bedow, will give a talk about visual identities on Thursday, January 14 at 12 in The Nordic House.

Bedow started his career in Stockholm’s advertising industry in the late nineties. When the dotcom bubble bursted he was laid off and since 2005 he run his own studio with three employees. One of their latest assignments is a visual identity for the Icelandic flight search engine Dohop. In his talk Bedow explains the philosophy behind the studio’s work, why playfulness is important and shows some examples of the studio’s work.

Bedow’s work has been awarded in Art Directors Club, D&AD, Cannes Lions and Epica Awards to mention a few. More information can be found at www.bedow.se.
