DesignMarch is one of Reykjavík’s leading city festivals and a key event in the city’s cultural life. The festival brings together participants and guests in an original world of design and innovation, where fresh ideas and unexpected approaches are given space to flourish. DesignMarch transforms downtown Reykjavík into a vibrant hub of design, innovation and creative exchange. The overarching theme of DesignMarch 2026 is Connections. In a world defined simultaneously by hyper-connectivity and disconnection, the festival turns its focus to the fundamental human need for meaningful connection.
