Family Wednesdays with Svanurinn: Green Lifestyle

Welcome to Educational Wednesdays in collaboration with “Svanurinn” in Iceland.

Every day we make many lifestyle choices that can have positive, neutral, or negative effects on our environment, our health, and the people around us. In this session, we will explore simple steps towards a greener lifestyle.

The lecture will be given by Ester Alda H. Bragadóttir, a specialist at Svanurinn in Iceland.

After the presentation, visitors can enjoy playing in the fun Pippi Langsokk exhibition Pippi, Democracy and children’s voices, which has an adventure house, costumes and games!

Accessibility:The Nordic House has good access to most of the building’s spaces. There is a wheelchair ramp that leads up to the house and inside the house there is an elevator that goes down to the exhibition space Hvelfing. Unfortunately, there are only stairs down to the children’s library from the library itself, but for wheelchairs it is accessible from Hvelfing.
