ARTIST TALK with the Ukrainian artists of the exhibition HOW DID I GET TO THE BOMBSHELTER, on view in the Nordic House, Reykjavík 4th February – 14th May 2023.
“During the artist talk the artists will unfold how they created their artworks related to the exhibition – and they will touch upon the themes related to their personal experience of the war, their longing for a peaceful life, their paths towards survival and their hope for the future”.
Artists: Mykhaylo Barabash (b. 1980), Sergiy Petlyuk (b. 1981), Elena Subach (b. 1980), Maxim Finogeev (b. 1989) and Jaroslav Kostenko (b. 1989) participated via ZOOM.
