Seminar and workshops at the Nordic House Feb 2.
In connection with the exhibition, Century of the Child: Nordic Design for Children 1900 to Today, the Nordic House will arrange a full-day program on February 2nd (Thursday) focusing on design, sustainability and the needs of the future.
The program language is English.
Program:
8:00-8:30, house opens, coffee in lobby
8:30-13:15, seminar: Sustainability in Nordic Design
13:15-14:00, break
14:00-16:00, workshop: Teaching sustainability – educating next generation of change makers (max 20). Lead by Mette Sindet Hansen from INDEX: Awards.
14:00-16:00, curators´talk: Exhibition design – new agendas and new media (max 30)
16:00-17:00, guided tour of the exhibition Century of the Child and refreshments
There is a 2,500 ISK confirmation fee for the seminar (1,000 ISK for students). Those who have confirmed participation on tix.is can register for the workshop or curators´talk on a first-come first-serve basis.
