Magni and Mattias will perform icelandic songs on Dagur íslenskrar tungu, November 16th. Mattias and Magni have been playing together since 2016 when Mattias moved to Iceland from Sweden to start his piano-education at Iceland University of the Arts.
Together with Örvar Erling Árnason on drums, Sigurlaug Björnsdóttir on flute and Romain Denuit on piano, they will perform songs which in some way have played a part in Mattias experience in Iceland and his language learning.
Furthermore they will premiere a new song by Norwegian composer Birgit Djupedal which features a text written by Óskar Völundarson, together with some of their own music.
Admission is free of charge.
