The Jóel Pálsson Quartet with singer Valdimar Gudmundson celebrates the release of Jóel’s new CD ‘DAGAR KOMA’ with a concert in the Nordic House on Nov.15th.
This is saxophonist Jóel’s seventh album as a leader and the first one to include vocals.
The songs on the album are composed to Icelandic poems of known Icelandic writers Gyrðir Elíasson, Gerður Kristný, Þórarinn Eldjárn, Sigurbjörg Þrastardóttir and Bragi Ólafsson.

Valdimar K. Sigurjónsson – acoustic bass
