In the panel discussions, the focus will be on various issues that are being discussed more and more in recent years, and that affect the musical life in substantial ways. The issues of immigrants and participation in the musical life of a new homeland will be discussed and also the accessibility of groups living with marginalization, especially in relation to the community and music project Metamorphonics which takes place internationally. We will hear about the extensive art and musical work, In Search of Magic, which deals with the Constitution of Iceland with the participation of a diverse group of composers, organizations, activists and citizens that reflects on the diversity of society. We will hear about a research on colonialism and last but not least get a glimpse of the music life of Greenland and Iran.
