The whole family is welcome to our Norwegian Sunday Story Hour in the Children’s Library at the Nordic house. A story will be read in connection with the new exhibition in the Children’s Library, “Under the Polar Ice”, an exhibition about plants and animals living in the Arctic Ocean. After the reading, everyone is invited to making crafts.

The reading will be done by Linn Miriam. Linn Miriam is from Norway and moved to Iceland in 2012. Since her childhood, she has been interested in creative projects based on reused materials. She has worked in a kindergarten and published a redesign book for children, and has worked for many years in a second hand store. Her goal is to inspire people to see the value in things that would otherwise have ended up in bins. Anything from used pantyhose to grandma’s old hair rollers…
