Sophie Fetokaki (GR) Kl. 15:00 – 15:45
Sophie Fetokaki is an interdisciplinary artist and musician. She can be found devising collaborative performance pieces, writing and performing poetry, singing folk songs and working with contemporary composers. Her folk song repertoire is a cornucopia of vocal traditions from around the world, including Appalachian ballads, Argentinian zambas, Cypriot and Greek songs and Brazilian bossa novas. In each of these styles she does not aim to reproduce an imagined ‘original’ but rather seeks to embody each song, and to deliver it as honestly as possible
Pétur Ben (IS) kl. 16:00- 16:45
Pétur Ben’s music ranges from delicate minimal folk songs to black metal. He has written music for chamber ensembles and choirs and is a founding member of KÓRUS, the notorious choir/collective of Reykjavik creatives.
Nini Julie Bang (DK) kl. 17:00- 17:45
Nini Julia Bang is a Danish singer and musician whose interest in music began as she travelled in her late teens and early 20’s to India, Tuva, Iceland, Corsica, Georgia, & most recently Iran. Her music is a meld of traditional folk songs combined with oceanic electronics and meditative loops.
Ingi Bjarni Trio (IS/FO/SE) kl. 18:00 – 18:45
Ingi Bjarni Trio brings together three active musicians from Iceland and the Faroe Islands. The members of the trio are Ingi Bjarni Skúlason from Iceland on piano, Bárður Reinert Poulsen (The Fjords, Espen Berg Trio) from the Faroe Islands on bass and Magnús Trygvason Eliassen (ADHD, amiina) from Iceland on drums.
