Panel Discussion on Cultural Presentations of The Arctic Region

A panel discussion about filmmaking in the Arctic, including a screening of the short film “Yukon Kings,” directed by Emmanuel Vaughan-Lee. The film is set in the remote Alaskan Yukon Delta and follows Yup’ik fisherman Ray Waska as he teaches his grandkids how to fish during the summer salmon run. Emmanuel Vaughan-Lee, the director of the film, and Adam Baldwin, Chief Programs Officer and Director at the Anchorage Museum in Alaska, will have a discussion about the arts in the Arctic along with Jay Bulckaert and Pablo Saravanja from Dead North Film festival.
