The programme\u2019s name is Volt and the application period is open from the 4th of May until the deadline on the 8th of June.<br \/>\nThe Nordic Council of Ministers have allocated approx. 248 000 \u20ac\/year to the programme. Children and young people are a priority within the Nordic cultural cooperation. The Nordic Council of Ministers\u2019 vision is that the Nordic Region will be the best place in the world for children and young people, one example being strengthening young people\u2019s rights and participation in society. Volt also places great importance on the kids own creativity and participation in the projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Basic demands when applying Volt<\/strong><br \/>\nAnybody within the fields of culture or education may apply. The criteria specify thatthe project revolves around children and young people aged zero \u2013 25.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 the project\u2019s focus is on increasing language understanding, culture and creativity<br \/>\n\uf0b7 the applicant recides in the Nordic Region<br \/>\n\uf0b7 the cooperation is made up of at least three countries in the Nordic Region<br \/>\n\uf0b7 the project will be conducted in one or several countries in the Nordic Region<br \/>\nThe assessment is furthermore based on how much the project furthers Nordic meetings and cooperation through culture and language understanding in the Nordic region. Great importance is placed on the creativity, participation and co-determination of young people in the project and how the project has been anchored among them. You may apply between 10 000 \u2013 70 000 \u20ac.
