Silje Beite L\u00f8ken and Nikul\u00e1s Yamamoto Barkarson. We welcome them warmly to the team!\u2060<br \/>\n\u2060<br \/>\nSilje Beite L\u00f8ken has taken over the project management of the Nordic Council Literature Prize and literary events at the Nordic House.\u2060<br \/>\nSilje is Norwegian and has lived in Iceland since 2016. She has worked as a translator for many years and, most recently, as an advisor at the Norwegian Embassy in Iceland from 2017 to 2026. She therefore brings extensive experience in Nordic cultural cooperation, languages\u200b, and literature to the job.\u2060<br \/>\n\u2060<br \/>\nNikul\u00e1s is our new technician and will be responsible for all our events in Elissa and more. \u2060<br \/>\nNikul\u00e1s has previously work as a sound engineer in collaboration with different artists and musician&#8217;s in Iceland. He has also work for the Nordic House as an external weekend technician for a few years.
