Then it\u2019s time to nominate them for the <span class=\"s1\"><b>Nordic Council Environment Prize 2025<\/b><\/span>!<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">This year\u2019s theme highlights the role of civil society in creating a sustainable future \u2013 we are looking for initiatives that inspire, engage and drive action.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><strong>\u00a0Final date for nominations: 30 April 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><strong>Prize amount: 300,000 DKK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Everyone can submit a nomination!<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">The winner will be announced at the <strong>Nordic Council Session<\/strong> in Stockholm in October.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">&#8211; Read more and nominate here: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.norden.org\/en\/news\/last-chance-nominate-candidates-nordic-council-environment-prize-2025\">norden.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b> About the Prize<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">The Nordic Council Environment Prize has been awarded annually since 1995, with the aim of raising awareness about nature and environmental protection in the Nordic Region. It is awarded to initiatives that demonstrate originality and impact in the field of sustainability and conservation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">In 2019, the prize was awarded to Greta Thunberg, who declined it in protest against inaction on climate issues.
