Are you curious about Nordic literature, but don\u2019t know where to start? The Nordic House is hosting a book circle in the most beautiful library in Reykjav\u00edk where we discuss current Nordic literature.<\/p>\n
The book circle will be hosted by Sunna D\u00eds M\u00e1sd\u00f3ttir, literary critic and a member of the Icelandic selection committee for the Nordic Council\u2019s Literature Award.<\/p>\n
This spring we are reading \u2013 among others \u2013\u00a0 Monika Fagerholm\u2019s \u201cHvem d\u00f6dade bambi\u201d, Niviaq Korneliussen\u2019s \u201cBlomsterdalen\u201d and Yayha Hassan\u2019s YAYHA HASSAN 2.<\/p>\n
We read in Scandinavian and converse in \u201cBlandinavian\u201d. The conversation takes place at the Library. The Nordic House offers tea and coffee.<\/p>\n
All the books are available at the Nordic House library and can be reserved with a library card. All participants get a free library card.<\/p>\n
Participation is free, but there are limited seats available. Therefore registration is required. You will be signed up for all of the seasons four-book circles.
