Varberg\u2019s Chamber Choir <\/strong>was founded in 1976. The choir presents a variety of genres of music \u2013 derived from many different musical eras. Mainly the choir performs a capella but it also collaborates with different orchestras, ensembles and musicians. During the last years the choir has performed the B minor Mass by J S Bach together with the specialized baroque ensemble \u201dDrottningholms barockensemble\u201d and also collaborated with instrumentalists from as well classical music as jazz. The choir also premiered contemporary choral music.<\/p>\n This year the choir will perform within a number of chamber music recitals, perform Mozart\u2019s Requiem and, in the beginning of January 2018, the Christmas Oratorio by J S Bach.
